WACREN has a stated capacity building objective aimed at reducing the imbalance of gender participation in its NRENs. It recognises that women empowering and inspiring other women is the best chance of success at this goal and wants to promote opportunities for groups of like-minded women to connect with each other and be trained to participate more effectively.
